Passiflora

Passiflora sidifolia (sidaefolia) 4" pot

Very similar to Passiflora actinia, the flowers are 3.5" wide with white petals and heavy filaments banded in purple and heavenly fragrant.   Lush leaves on a hefty vine that develops a woody base.  Easy grower!

Subgenus: Passiflora, Supersection: Stipulata, Section: Granadillastrum.  Also known as Passiflora sidaefolia.

Light: Full sun, part shade.  There will be less flowers in part shade.

Water: Moderate.

Soil: A wide range of soil, but it must be well-drained.

Fertilizer: A slow-release, bloom-booster type fertilizer is appreciated, but beware of using a fertilizer with too much nitrogen as it may push leaves at the expense of flowers.
