Subgenus Passiflora

Passiflora 'Elizabeth' 4" pot

Elizabeth Passion Flower. Fragrant, heavy blossoms are abundantly produced by this moderately sized vine. The lavender and mauve flowers are 4.5" and have long curly filaments. Very reliable bloomer. Will survive a slight frost since it can sprout from tuberous roots like its parent, P. incarnata. Tolerant of hot climates.

(P. phoenicia x P. incarnata)  Subgenus: Passiflora.  Patrick Worley's hybrid.

Light: Full sun, part shade.

Water: Moderate.

Soil: A wide range of soil, but it must be well-drained.

Fertilizer: A slow-release, bloom-booster type fertilizer is appreciated, but beware of using a fertilizer with too much nitrogen as it may push leaves at the expense of flowers.

Hardiness: Zone 9.
