Eloper Passion Flower. This is a beautiful and very hefty new hybrid by San Francisco Botanical Garden passiflora breeder Carlos Rendon (you might remember him from Passiflora 'Mission Dolores'!)
The large flowers have bright pink petals and white filaments and are just stunning. The vine is very attractive also with dark green, glossy trilobed leaves.
(Passiflora luzmarina x Passiflora loefgrenii 'Iporanga') Subgenus: Passiflora. Carlos Rendon's hybrid.
Light: Full sun, part shade. In warmer climates, afternoon shade is recommended.
Soil: A wide range of soil, but it must be well-drained.
Fertilizer: A slow-release, bloom-booster type fertilizer is appreciated, but beware of using a fertilizer with too much nitrogen as it may push leaves at the expense of flowers.
Hardiness: Zone 10.
