Jeannette Passion Flower. Very floriferous and one of the easiest passiflora to grow and bloom. Emerald purple with long dark filaments, it is similar to P. 'Lavender Lady' to which it is closely related. Established vines will tolerate a slight frost and may sprout from the roots if the top is damaged.
[(P. amethystina x P. caerulea) x (P. amethystina x P. caerulea)] x P. caerulea. Subgenus: Passiflora. Patrick Worley's hybrid.
Light: Full sun, part shade.
Soil: A wide range of soil, but it must be well-drained.
Fertilizer: A slow-release, bloom-booster type fertilizer is appreciated, but beware of using a fertilizer with too much nitrogen as it may push leaves at the expense of flowers.
Hardiness: Zone 9.
