Passiflora 'Laura Torres' 4" pot

Laura Torres Passionflower.  Large, soft pink, pendant flowers. It attracts hummingbirds and produces elongated reddish orange fruit with a pleasant, tropical taste. Can tolerate a slight frost. The large flowers hang down like pink parasols making this a good choice for a pergola, arch or even an unsightly tree!  Does not tolerate excessive heat.

Subgenus: Passiflora, Supersection: Tacsonia (Passiflora 'Exoniensis' x Passiflora luzmarina)

Light: Full sun, part shade.  There will be less flowers in part shade.  It would be good to give it afternoon shade in warmer climates.

Water: Moderate.

Soil: A wide range of soil, but it must be well-drained.

Fertilizer: A slow-release, bloom-booster type fertilizer is appreciated, but beware of using a fertilizer with too much nitrogen as it may push leaves at the expense of flowers.

Hardiness: Zone 9.
