Unlike most Tacsonias, Passiflora mixta holds its flower upright. The bright pink flowers are beloved by hummingbirds and other pollinators. On the whole, a very carefree, large passiflora from a sometimes tempermental group. Does not tolerate excessive heat.

Light: Full sun, part shade. There will be less flowers in part shade. It would be good to give it afternoon shade in warmer climates.
Soil: A wide range of soil, but it must be well-drained.
Fertilizer: A slow-release, bloom-booster type fertilizer is appreciated, but beware of using a fertilizer with too much nitrogen as it may push leaves at the expense of flowers.
Hardiness: Zone 9.
