Small white star-shaped flowers with crispy, crinkled edges and interesting hairy leaves. This is a winter growing Amaryllid from South Africa that is very easy to grow. It grows well in containers and produces offsets freely to make a cheerful clump. These are seed grow bulbs from Silverhill seeds and have been bloom size for several years
(Amaryllidaceae) This is an order for two bloom-size bulbs. They will ship when dormant: spring-late summer. If you order plants while the bulbs are still in active growth, the bulbs will ship separately.
Light: Full sun
Water: Moderate to heavy requirements provided that the soil is sharply draining.
Soil: Sharply draining, but high in organic matter.
Fertilizer: Relatively heavy feeder, so a slow-release fertilizer is appreciated. I use a peat-based potting mix with a generous helping of extra pummice added.
Hardiness: USDA Zone 10
