New for 2015!

Passiflora 'Vanessa' 4" pot

Vanessa Passion Flower.  Stunning new hybrid from Michael Graupe.  Fuchsia pink petals hang on long stems with thick, bristly white filaments in the center tipped with lavender.  This hybrid bloomed all winter in our very cool greenhouse!  This is a very exciting new development in Passiflora breeding!

(Passiflora luzmarina x Passiflora loefgrenii 'Corupa') Subgenus: Passiflora.  Michael Graupe's hybrid.

Light: Full sun, part shade.  In warmer climates, afternoon shade is recommended.

Water: Moderate.

Soil: A wide range of soil, but it must be well-drained.

Fertilizer: A slow-release, bloom-booster type fertilizer is appreciated, but beware of using a fertilizer with too much nitrogen as it may push leaves at the expense of flowers.

Hardiness: Zone 10.

A beautiful Passiflora with bountiful blooms

I love it. Cannot wait to see it bloom.

It arrived healthy and it is large, the biggest of all passifloras I have ordered this time. I have purchased from her before and will purchase again. This plant is probably 1.5 ft. long and healthy. I cannot wait for it to bloom. Thank you very much.

Great Plant (Even Indoors!)

I placed my order late in the year, so the plants I received went straight into their overwintering location in my dry basement (under lights). Even under what I imagine to be suboptimal conditions, this plant has done very well and has bloomed almost continuously. I recommend it to anyone, and particularly those wishing to grow Passiflora indoors who may think that they do not have the right climate or conditions.

Being a hybrid between a Tacsonia and a non-Tacsonia, the blooms are also quite unique!

STUNNING BLOOMS

P Vanessa just started flowering for me and the blooms are gorgeous. I live in zone 8 in Seattle and I currently have P Vanessa in a 12 inch pot outdoors. I love this plant!
