Passiflora 'White Wedding' 4" pot

Pristine, 4" white flowers on a sturdy vine. Will take a hard frost.  This is a vigorous grower, so White Wedding is a good choice for covering fences and arbors.  The foliage is very attractive also.  Lush, dark green leaves with a slight bluish cast.

(Passiflora caerulea 'Constance Eliott' x P. eichleriana)  Henk Wouter and Roland Fischer's hybrid.

Although P. 'White Wedding' appears to be similar to P. 'Constance Eliott,' in person they are very different. P. 'Constance Eliott' is much more delicate with a fruity fragrance, while P. 'White Wedding' has larger flowers with thicker, spongier petals and thicker filaments. The P. 'White Wedding' also has a larger, huskier vine and is less cold-hardy.

Light: Full sun, part shade.  There will be less flowers in part shade.

Water: Moderate.

Soil: A wide range of soil, but it must be well-drained.

Fertilizer: A slow-release, bloom-booster type fertilizer is appreciated, but beware of using a fertilizer with too much nitrogen as it may push leaves at the expense of flowers.

Hardiness: Zone 9,  but possibly lower in a sheltered location.

Tons of gorgeous large pure white flowers!

I love this plant. The flowers are very similar to Passiflora 'Snow Queen' but the corona filaments are a bit shorter. It is blooming non stop this summer and is in a 3 gallon fiber pot that is temporary. The flowers on this plant have a divine fragrance!
