Our 40% off clearance sale is here!

by Deborah Austin September 30, 2014

The annual clearance begins in...
motionmailapp.com
October 1st - 31st: All available stock is forty percent off

Time to clear out the greenhouses, bring in all our frost-hardy plants & prepare for winter. We have had a fantastic year, and while we're sad to see the summer go, at least you guys can reap some of the benefits.

Be advised that the plants sell out very fast. The sale is limited to stock on hand, so be prepared to act quickly. Head over to our shop to see what's available.

A couple new features:

We've just added wishlists! Now you can...

  • Prepare for the clearance. As you may know, many plants sell out crazy fast, so now you'll have a handy list so you can line up all your plants when the clearance starts. The view from the wishlist also allows you to see which plants have already sold out. We hope this helps your frenzied shopping a little!
  • Send to family & friends. Easily share the wishlist link with friends & family if they need a little hint on what type of plant you really want.
  • Keep your wishlist handy for next spring's shopping.

Also added: Product reviews

  • Submit reviews for the plants you've bought. How is your plant doing? Did it arrive in good condition? Was the size what you expected? Let us (and fellow shoppers) know!
  • Share growing advice. Whether we underestimated our new plant or we're new to collecting a species or just simply realize that our climate is not very well-suited, some plants really throw us for a loop. Every house, city & microclimate is different. Now you can easily let us know how you met these challenges and even what methods you used to troubleshoot the tricksy bit of flora.
  • Share tips & information. While the internet has amazing advice on every imaginable plant, there can be marked variations within each species, depending on the cultivar or specific grower. By sharing your experience on this particular plant, people can compare notes. For example, perhaps you found coloring to be slightly different from other clones within the same species. Or perhaps the leaves twisted more on this particular clone. Let us know what you found with your specific plants & growing conditions.
And don't forget! Our daily deal will still be going in October! Daily deals are always 60% off, so keep checking back throughout October and you can save an additional 20% on whatever plant is being featured that day.

Happy shopping!
