Passiflora citrina 4" pot

Citrus-Yellow Passion Flower. Bright yellow, star-shaped flowers and beautiful two-toned foliage that is shaped like a duck's foot.  Makes a lovely hanging basket or houseplant in a bright window.  If pollinated by a different passion flower, it produces pinkish-red, torpedo-shaped fruits similar to P. capsularis.

Subgenus: Decaloba, Supersection: Decaloba, Section: Xeragona

Light: Full sun, part shade.  There will be less flowers in part shade.

Water: Moderate.

Soil: A wide range of soil, but it must be well-drained.

Fertilizer: A slow-release, bloom-booster type fertilizer is appreciated, but beware of using a fertilizer with too much nitrogen as it may push leaves at the expense of flowers.

Hardiness: Zone 11.
