Solanum quitoense (Thornless Lulo) 4" pot

Size

 Lulo, Naranjilla. Mostly grown for its sweet, juicy fruits, this rare Solanum is also a very attractive plant.  The flowers are not particularly showy, but the leaves are covered with purple fur.  This is a thornless variety, so no dealing with all the prickles of the typical plant.  The fruit is prized in South America for eating fresh and making refreshing drinks.

(Solanaceae) Shrubby and tolerates heavy pruning.

Light: Full sun or part shade in very warm climates

Water: Average.

Soil:  Standard potting mix is fine.

Fertilizer: All-purpose

Hardiness: Zone 10.  Might tolerate a slight frost.
