The flowers stay open for several days and deepen from apricot to pink. Unlike the typical P. aurantia, the flowers open all of the way. This form is self-fertile and sets a copious amount ping pong ball sized fruits that are edible and sweet, but watery tasting.

Soil: A wide range of soil, but it must be well-drained.
